After an off-day tomorrow, the O’s start a 9 game homestand.

Losers of the last 5 games, Baltimore has fallen to 24-33 overall. The Orioles are 16-13 at home however.

The three series are:

Seattle: June 9th – June 11th

Atlanta: June 12th – June 14th

NYM: June 16th – 18th

Seattle will enter Baltimore at 28-29, winners of their last 2 games, and 12-15 on the road. Vargas, King Felix, and Washburn are scheduled for the Mariners. The O’s just saw Vargas, and Washburn this past week, so that should be an advantage.

The O’s would be starting Bergesen, Guthrie, and Berken, but I believe Uehara is expected to start Wednesday.

Atlanta is currently 27-28, 4-6 in their last 10 games, and 14-13 on the road. The Braves are still missing Kotchman, and Hudson. Getting minimal production from Anderson, Francoeur, and Johnson. Obviously getting McLouth should help revive them a bit, but they do not figure to be coming into Baltimore on a high. The O’s need to get into the Braves bullpen, and take advantage.

The Mets are 30-25, 5-5 in their last 10 games, and 13-16 on the road. They are still missing Delgado, Reyes, O. Perez, Putz, and obviously Wagner who is out for the year.

While the Braves and Mets get to add a bat to their lineup, they do not have anyone like Luke Scott sitting around on their bench.

The O’s should be thinking 2 of 3 in each of these series.
