I have made the point several times that I do not believe Trembley is the problem for the Baltimore Orioles, but it is pretty clear he is not the solution either.

Even if a Manager only directly impacts 5 or so games a year, you still have to hold someone accountable for this ridiculous start.

Trembley’s decisions tonight has to be the final-straw. I would have rather had Matusz pitch against McDonald, vs. bringing in a pitcher – but if you decided to go the pen, why Albers?

(By the way, as much as Matusz was ‘robbed’ tonight – he gets some of the blame for the leadoff walk to start the 7th. Still, with every start he shows why he is going to be so enjoyable to watch for years)

Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports is reporting the O’s have had internal discussions about Melvin, and Valentine.

There is an off day Monday, prior to the series with New York. Dave Trembley has no business being the Oriole Manager when that series begins.
