17-10, 6-7 Maryland heads to NCST to face the 15-11, 5-8 Wolfpack tomorrow night.

Obviously, the Terps need to win 2 of their last 3 games prior to the ACCT, to finish 500 in the league, and have a legit chance to dance.

NCST lost a tough game at Wake Thursday… but had won 3 of 4 in league play prior to that, since moving to a larger lineup.

The Wolfpack have 4 players avg at least 9.4 points per game, and 8 players avg at least 5 points a game.

They are led by Foward Brandon Costner, who averages 14.3 ppg, and 6.2 boards.
Center Ben McCauley chips in with 12.4 ppg, and 7.4 boards.

For the year, they have:
Wins against: @New Orleans, High Point, Winthrop, NC Greensboro, Winston Salem, East Carolina, Lipscomb, Loyola (MD), Towson, GaTech, Miami, NC Central, Wake Forest, @GaTech, Virginia

Losses against: @Davidson (by 5), Marquette (by 3), @ Florida (by 2), @Clemson, Florida State, @Duke, @BC, UNC, @VaTech (by 4), @UNC (by 9), @Wake (by 7)

A number of close losses to some quality teams… Credit Sidney Lowe for getting the team to play hard down the stretch.

This is not a ‘MUST’ win game for MD… as the Terps could still come home and beat Wake, and win on the road vs UVA… but this is a game you clearly want to have.

You do not want to be in the position of having to beat Wake Tuesday night.
