Extremely dissapointing Top of the 7th for the Orioles today.

After Uehara pitched 6 innings, allowing 1 er, on 6 hits, with 0 bb’s and 5 k’s – he gave way to Jamie Walker to start the 7th.

Walker struck-out Swisher, allowed a HR to Cano, and got Cabrera to fly-out.

Johnson came in to replace Walker, and allowed an in-field single to Cervelli when Roberts wasn’t able to come in and make the play with the slow in-field.

Jeter gets on with another in-field single… and Oriole killer Johnny Damon hits a three-run homer to give New York the 5-3 lead.

In 2008, Johnson pitched in 54 games… 68.2 innings pitched, with 54 hits allowed, 38 k’s, and 28 walks. He held hitters to a .537 OPS against, and had a Grounder to Fly-ball ratio of 1.44.

Going into today, Johnson had pitched in 13 games… 13 innings pitched, with 11 hits allowed, 8 k’s, and 4 walks. He had held hitters to a .630 OPS against, and had a Grounder to Fly-ball ratio of 0.95.
