The Baltimore Orioles ended a 3 game losing streak, as they beat the Atlanta Braves 8-4 tonight at Camden Yards.

29,645 fans were on-hand, as the O’s banged out 14 hits.

Among those 14 hits, were 4 by Roberts, and 3 each by Mora, and Reimold.

Jones homered for the 12th time, and Scott had 2 hits and 2 walks.

Oriole starter Rich Hill went through the first 3 innings without giving up a run, but lost in the 4th.

After getting Chipper Jones out to end the inning, Hill let up a walk, a single, a walk, a ground-rule double, a sac-fly, and a another single – with Markakis throwing Francoeur out at the plate.

Hill did not come-back out for the 5th. Brian Bass entered the game, and provided 3 innings of scoreless ball, allowing the O’s to come-back. Bass earned the win, to move to 4-1 overall.

Tomorrow Brad Bergesen will face Derek Lowe with the opportunity for a needed series win.
