David Hernandez just went off for AAA Norfolk last night.

While his outing gurantees he will not be the Orioles starter Tuesday night against Toronto, it was an impressive statement that likely has him in Baltimore soon.

7.1 innings, 3 hits, 0 er, 0 bb’s, and 14 k’s. Wow.

This lowered his era for the season to 2.91, and means that in 43.1 innings, he has allowed 33 hits, 13 bb’s, with 60 k’s.

Just extremely impressive.

Wieters had 2 hits, including his 8th double of the year.
In May, Wieters is battting .307, with a .969 OPS.

In the Eastern League, Arrieta took his 2nd loss for Bowie, but pitched well.
Arrieta went 6 innings, allowed 6 hits, 3 er, 1 walk, with 9 k’s.
