There are rumors out there saying Terrell Vinson is about ready to verbal to UMass… my guess is that he does not sign elsewhere until he knows what happens with Stephenson to MD.
Another name to keep eyes on is Deshawn Painter, who just got his release from Florida…

Not sure Painter makes a lot of sense for MD, but the Terps apparently are interested.
Re Stephenson – The NY Papers have hyped StJohn’s over and over… just seems to me that if he wanted to go there, things would be done already. I think clearly Kansas was the choice… if Henry winds-up as a Jayhawk.. I am pretty sure Stephenson will be a Terp.
Re Vasquez – If he was 100% sure he was leaving… for Europe, if not the NBA… I think he would have declared and had an agent by now…. the fact that he has not yet declared points to the idea that he is evaluating his NBA draft chances… (and probably waiting on the Stephenson situation to resolve itself)
