Today in the SVP Lounge, CT, Eric and Zack are giddy after the Maryland Terrapins smash Purdue to open conference play, earning a 4-0 record to start the season. The guys give their initial reactions to a dominant performance, gush over the 400 yard rushing performance and look at the love Maryland is starting to get in the polls. They also get into their respective tailgates, the Terps registering as a favorite over Penn State and what they’ll be looking for this Saturday.

Later, The Solid Verbal’s Ty Hildenbrandt drops by the Lounge to discuss all things central Pennsylvania and whether Maryland and Penn State really are rivals. Ty brings us up to speed on James Franklin’s status in Happy Valley, if Maryland fans should fear Trace McSorely and how the Terps can continue their success on the ground against a soft front-seven. All that and Ty’s official review of Designated Survivor.

(You can discuss this on the BSL Board here.)

***Note from CT – Apologies for my audio quality. I know it’s a bit of a disaster and it took one of my best editing jobs to make it not sound completely horrible. We’ll do better next week.
