I continue to have empathy for Sergio Kindle. The news yesterday that his rookie year is likely over, and possibly his career; has to be devastating for the soon to be 23-year old to deal with.

There is no rehab for a fractured-skull, and the young LB suffered some brain trauma, so this is not all together shocking. It is a change from earlier this month though, where Kindle was stating he expected to return this season.

You feel even worse for Kindle when you consider he had not signed his contract. I give credit to the Ravens to continuing to work towards a deal with Kindle, while making sure the organization is protected as well.

As a fan of the Ravens I hope he is able to return at some-point and form the nucleus of defense going forward along with Cody, and Ngata.

Much more importantly, I hope that Kindle is able to reclaim all aspects of his life that he had prior to the fall.
