I will be glad to see Koji Uehara back in an Oriole uniform tonight. However, to make room for him on the roster, there has to be a corresponding move.

By apperances, it looks like Hernandez is going to be sent back to AAA.

I really do not get that move, as there is little for Hernandez to accomplish back at that level.

I think the team should cut Hendrickson, and move Hernandez (or Berken) to the bullpen.

Hendrickson has had only 6 apperances since May 12th, and almost all have been in blowouts. If you are not going to use him, there is little reason to keep him.

Castillo has already been promoted as the Lefty-specialist.

Ultimately, 2009 is about looking at the players that can help you going forward. The question is not if Hernandez can start or be effective at the AAA level, it is can he be effective in the Majors, and do you think he is a starter long-term?

I believe Hernandez belongs on the roster, but I think his future is likely in the bullpen.

I think his recent outing at Oakland give a perfect glimpse of what he can bring.
