American is 14-7 overall, tied for first in the Patriot League at 6-1…
Morgan State is 12-10 overall, 7-2 in the MEAC, which leads the conference…
When the Terps beat Vermont and American as expected… they receive no credit for those wins… It just an ACC team beating a low to mid-Major conference team.
When the Terps cough up a 14point lead with 12mts left, and lose by 1 to Morgan State – it is apocalypse now for many MD fans.
You get the experience of playing teams you should beat… but have the players to push you… and that is a good thing.
However, if the outcome of the game can only hurt you – is it worthwhile playing these games?
