To Anonymous 1:

Singler will obviously contend for Conference and National honors, and I agree Williams still has more to prove. I think it is fairly clear that Williams (who was on the ACC's All-Rookie team) will end the year as an All-ACC First or Second team type of player. As such, I consider those two basically a wash.

I think it is interesting you insinuate Williams' career will not approach that of Singler's. You mention that I need to remove my 'Red & White' glasses. I also found that interesting. Last year after Maryland lost to William & Mary, I wrote about the Terps path to 10 ACC wins, and the NCAA Tournament. I received an 'anonymous' comment than as well, calling me the most delusional Terp fan in the world.

13 ACC wins later, that anonymous poster never seemed to have any additional comments.

Mason Plumlee will have a much better career than Dino Gregory, but in this 2010-11 season the difference between the two will be negligible. All either one is going to be asked to do is rebound, block some shots, and be the 5th offensive option on the floor. I agree with you that Gregory is an undersized Center... but he is not going to be playing the 5, so that has zero relevance. You could also say he is undersized to play the 4... but he will be sufficient in providing rebounding and a defensive presence.

If you have something else to add, leave your name.

To Anonymous 2:

You are absolutely correct, and I was wrong about Felix coming to Duke. Thanks for pointing it out.

How can you seriously think Kyle Singler and Mason Plumlee are EQUAL to Dino Gregory and Jordan Williams? Jordan Williams is a good player and had a good freshman year. His career and skills are not close to an Singler. Dino Gregory is not a front line ACC player and he isn't going to become one during his senior year. He is an way undersized center with little offensive skills. Plumlee may not be a Lettner but he is much better then Gregory. You need to remove your "Red and White" glasses. You love stats Singler has averaged about 17 ppg and 7 boards for his career. That shooting about 38% from the 3-point line. Gregory has averaged less then 3 points less then 3 rebounds during his career. Plumlee was better then that his freshman year.
