actually James it is the third one.And Chris,I think I understand why your last name is Stoner.Go back and read the Forbes article of last year, and give me one reason based on the money Angelos is making, why we can't compete with the bigger markets. He's guaranteed a certain number of fans by MLB whether they are here or not,I believe the agreed upon number was 27,000.If Minnesota,Oakland,Texas,Philadelphia(who notably have the worst fans in baseball),Tampa Bay(who draws next to no fans)and Toronto can be competitive, why can't we?It starts at the top and funnels it's way down. And we haven't even talked about Trembley,a losing minor league manager, and his decisions on a inning to inning basis, much less day to day.

WNST are vultures. If the Orioles had anything resembling a good record they wouldn't know what to do with themselves. BTW, isn't this the second time they have attempted to do another Free the Birds?

Spare us Nestor

Agree with a lot of what you say here.

I like Nestor a lot...He's a good guy, has helped me tremendously.

If Free the Birds is something to unite the fans as one in another tough season, then OK, that's understandable.

But I think it's safe to say that Nestor and WNST wouldn't be creating the FTB group this season if the O's were not 2-10, 3-16. If they were winning, this would not have come up.

To me, keeping the name "Free the Birds" implies that the goal is still to "free" the Orioles from Angelos as an owner.

That also implies that Angelos is somehow responsible for the O's 3-16 start. That implication is very off base in my opinion.

I listen to WNST and they make a lot of great points. But Drew and Glenn's inability in the morning (when I normally listen) to say anything positive about the O's...they do not even admit that things are looking up compared to past years; kind of puts a damper on the good points that they make.
