Down 9-0 to Duke at-home, the Terrapins of Maryland rallied to 21-16 victory.
With the win, the Terps move to 4-1 overall and 1-0 within the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Saftey Antwin Perez played like the 5 Star recruit that he was, and Maryland received points on an explosive return from Tony Logan and reception from Da’Rel Scott.
Adrian Moten, and Joe Vellano also deserve credit for their performances tonight.
In the ACC’s Atlantic Division, the Terps have also received some help. Coastal powers Virginia Tech, Miami, and Georgia Tech have scored wins over North Carolina State, Clemson, and Wake Forest respectively.
Clemson, NCST, and Wake dropping these home-games means that only MD and Florida State are undefeated in the Atlantic.
FSU has grabbed hold of the Atlantic with their wins over Wake last-week, and Virginia today.
After a bye next-week, Maryland will travel to Death Valley to face Clemson on the 16th. Clemson will be at North Carolina this coming week. If the Terps can win this game, the season will have the potential to become very interesting.
