Mike Preston of The Baltimore Sun has a blog entry today of more rumors of Lewis’ interest in Dallas, speaking of comments made from a former Sun employee, now with the Dallas Morning News.

I think Lewis could have sincere interest in Dallas… and I am quite sure he did last Summer, when every National writer was saying the Cowboys were Super Bowl favorites, and that Baltimore would struggle to finish 3rd in the AFC North.
Right now though, this is about making the Ravens believe he would be willing to go somewhere else, to get the most money he can get out of Biscotti.
It is hard to believe Dallas is a viable option, when they entered this off-season with only $10M in cap-room, and have some glaring needs, and existing players to be retained.
Additionally, the D Tackles for Dallas are not great, and would be a far cry from Ngata.
Lastly, while the New York Jets now have Coach Ryan, and a great DT in Kris Jenkins, they are apparently in the worst-cap shape of anyone.
