This week, there are 53 total Brackets making up the rankings.
Based on the Terps beating VaTech, and moving to 5-5 in the ACC, MD has moved back into the ‘Others Receiving votes’ section, appearing on 3 brackets.
On those 3 brackets, the Terps are a consensus 11 seed.
Clemson who MD plays tomorrow night, appears on all 53 brackets as a 3 seed.
The ACC, which still leads the country in Conference RPI, is currently projected to send 7 teams to the Tournament, with Miami in the next 4 out.
Virginia Tech, is on 45 brackets as a consensus 10 seed.
Miami, is on 31 brackets as a consensus 11 seed.
Outside of the ACC, there are teams of interest to Maryland, including:
Michigan State – On all 53 brackets, consensus 2 seed
Michigan – On 12 brackets, listed in the First Four Out, a consensus 11 seed
American – Projected winner of the Patriot League, on 49 brackets as a 14 seed
Vermont – Projected winner of the American East conference, on 34 brackets as a 14 seed
Morgan St – Projected winner of the MEAC, on all 53 brackets as a 16 seed
The Big East, which is 3rd overall in Conference RPI, is projected to send 8 teams to the Tournament, with 2 other teams receiving votes.
