Sports Illustrated’s Jon Heyman tweeted last night that the O’s were interested in both Vladimir Guerrero, and Jim Thome.
The response of many in Birdland has been to question that validity of that report. I see no reason to not believe in the O’s interest.
The O’s could put Scott in LF, or 1st (likely LF) and have a spot available at DH for Vlad, Thome, or Ordonez.
Think about the O’s lineup if they were to sign one of Lee or LaRoche (Pena has signed with the Cubs), move Scott to LF, get one of the DH’s, and one of the SS’s.

I can say that would not be how I would build the lineup, but there is more than one way to accomplish things. That lineup could hang ’em, and bang ’em with anyone.
