ESPN’s Jayson Stark is reporting the Chicago White Sox are listening to offers for OF Carlos Quentin and P Gavin Floyd.
Might there be a match here with Baltimore?
I would be fine starting 2010 with a rotation of Matusz, Guthrie, Arrieta, Bergesen, and Tillman. I am also fine with Pie in LF, Reimold still available as an option, signing a 1st baseman (Lee or LaRoche) with Scott at DH. Or signing a 1st baseman, moving Scott to LF and pursuing one of the DH’s (Vlad, Thome, Ordonez, or Matsui).
That said, I could easily see the Orioles being interested in Quentin or Floyd.

I am as big a Tillman fan as there is, but the package back to Chicago would probably have to be centered around him.
Quentin has been horrible in the field the last two years according to UZR/150, but was fine in ’08 with Chicago, and good with Arizona before that. If he could not play the field, you could put Scott in LF, Quentin at DH, and commit to Reimold at 1st.
