A pretty well played game from both sides, give Duke credit for making the necessary plays down the stretch.

Coach K made a nice defensive adjustment at half-time, which made it harder for the MD guards and wings to score in the paint.

MD will be kicking theirselves for their poor Free-Throw shooting tonight, finishing only 16 for 24 at the line.

The biggest moment of the game probably occured at roughly the 17 minute mark of the 2nd-half, when Vasquez picked up his 4th foul.

When he returned to the game with under 8mts left in the game, he quickly picked up his 5th.

In short-order, his teammates Mosley, and Milbourne also fouled-out.

Milbourne had a nice game overall, finishing with 19pts, and 5boards.

Bowie had his best game in several weeks, chipping in with 14pts.

MD was able to be in the game with under 5mts left, because Eric Hayes provided valuable mts off the bench. Hayes finished with 10pts, 5 boards and was able to handle the Duke pressure.

As the game progressed, it called for someone to take it over and make some plays. The player that answered that call was Duke’s Gerald Henderson, who made plays on both-sides of the ball.

The Terps fall to 17-10 overall, 6-7 in the ACC.

MD will be at NCST Sunday Night. The Wolfpack are at Wake Forest tomorrow.
