The 2011 NCAA Tournament gets into full-swing today without Maryland, but the Terrapins have received fantastic news anyway with the verbal committment of Justin Anderson.
The 2012 product from Stu Vetter’s Montrose Christian (Vasquez, Durant, Bowie, Walker etc.) is a major talent, and the latest sign of the improved recruiting in recent Maryland classes. (Williams, Stoglin, Faust being examples)

When Anderson arrives at College Park, the team around him (based on who is currently eligible) could look like:
Maryland 2012-13
Guards: Stoglin (Jr), Howard (Jr), Faust (Soph), Gibbs (Soph)
SF: Parker (Jr), Palsson (Jr), Anderson (Frosh)
PF: Bruenig (Soph), Padgett (Sr)
C: Williams (Sr), Pankey (RS Soph / Jr)
If Williams is back for his Senior year, that will be a team with a lot of firepower. The hope would be with Anderson on-board now (and relatively early) it will allow you to finish-out the 2012 class strongly. Shaquille Cleare is a name that has been mentioned a lot.
