Not an effective outing, but he did get in 52 pitches…

Mora did not play due to injury.
Part of the reason for Guthrie’s rough outing, was a costly error by Adam Dunn at 1st base that lead to four unearned runs.
I did advocate the O’s signing Dunn, and putting him at 1st… fully aware of Dunn’s defensive reputation.
While I never expected Dunn would become Keith Hernandez at 1st, I do think if he had been working at 1st all of ST, that would be a different situation vs him receiving a spot start at the position.
