It was a relatively pedestrian Week 8 in both College Football and in BSL’s Deified Dozen, with one big exception. Notre Dame rocketed from “receiving votes” all the way up to #8 after crushing USC and effectively ending the Trojan’s Playoff hopes. TCU broke their #4 tie with idle Ohio State thanks to an easy shutout win at Kansas, while Oklahoma slipped some following a tighter-than-expected win at Kansas State.
