Zaun was rested after a collision at the plate the day before… sounds like nothing but a precautionary day-off.
What would be interesting would be to see what the O’s would do with Wieters, if Zaun actually had an injury that required the DL to start the season.
Pie had a walk… if Pie improves his strike-zone judgement month-to-month, he will have accomplished a lot in 2009.
