Week 1 is in the books, and we’ve now had the chance to see all of the teams play. Each week during the season our panel of experts will rank the Top 12 teams in college football. This season our panel includes: Rob Shields, Mike Lowe, Zack Kiesel, Brian (Pedro Cerrano) McGuire, Chris (Ricker Says) Ricker, Steve Birrer, and Chris Stoner. We are looking forward to another exciting season of college football and race to the College Football Playoff.
Auburn cracked our Dozen this week, shooting all the way up to #8 after defeating previous #10 Oregon. Oklahoma also gained a couple spots after a very impressive win over Houston. Florida saw a drop after looking less-than-impressive in Week Zero against Miami.
Week 2 should be a very interesting week of non-conference action. There are two major games featuring two teams from the Deified Dozen; #10 Texas A&M visits defending national champion #1 Clemson and #7 LSU travels to Austin to face #11 Texas. Another game to keep an eye on is #6 Michigan hosting Army, who last year put a scare into Oklahoma, falling by just a TD in overtime.
