Tomorrow at Camden Yards, Baltimore will have the opportunity for the 3 game sweep.
The pitching match-up is Alfredo Simon vs AJ Burnett.
Would feel much better if Rich Hill was taking the mound, but Simon should be sufficient tomorrow.
I believe Simon’s time with the staff will be be fairly limited this year, but he deserves credit for forcing his way on to the roster.
Simon is a big-strong guy, with a power arm… in some ways he is easy to root for. I just find it hard to be excited about watching the guy that is turning 28 in May, and last had a ‘decent’ season in 2004 in High A ball.

As long as he is here though, I will be rooting for him. Tomorrow, I am looking for him to give 5 or so innings, and keep the team in the game.
The bullpen should have everyone available for work (aside from maybe Baez)… I would like to see Ray, Albers, and Sarfate get right back on the mound.
Burnett was 2-1 vs the O’s in 2008, but had a 9.82 ERA…. 16 earned runs in 14.2 innings, with 23 hits allowed, and 19 k’s.
Expect a lot of fight out of New York tomorrow, as they will not want to leave town at 0 and 3.
