Terrence Ross currently plays for Stu Vetter and Montrose Christian (Durant, Vasquez, Bowie, Shane Walker) but is from the West Coast.

As Ross’s profile exploded this past year, it was believed that MD had no chance to sign him, and that Ross would be heading back to Pac 10 country.

Ross showed once again how quickly things can change in recruiting, with a verbal to MD.

Here is a link to his profile on Rivals:

For the 2010 class, in addition to Stoglin, and Ross… you know that 1 scholarship and possibly 2 will be available.

MD is also involved with DeShawn Painter, who is currently part of the 2009 class, but might become a 2010. If he signs for 2009, that would make 1 more scholarship available for 2010.

If he becomes part of the 2010 class, or does not sign with MD for 2009… MD would have 2 scholarships available.

This is not even including the possibilities that Burney could take a medical, or that Goins could transfer.

If MD can now sign SF (Mychal Parker, JD Weatherspoon) 2010 would be a monster class for MD… and with the possibility of adding a big to that mix… it is enough to drool over the prospects for the Terps going forward.

Out of the group of 9 of Mychal Parker, Hippolyte Tsafack, Antonio Barton, Will Barton, Will Regan, C.J. Leslie, Victor Oladipo, J.D. Weatherspoon, and DeShawn Painter (if he is reclassified to 2010) – there certainly is an opportunity to add 2 more players of substance.

2010-11 Terps
1 – Bowie (Senior), Stoglin (Frosh)
2 – Mosley (Junior), Ross (Frosh)
3 – Tucker (Senior), Kim (Junior),
4 – Padgett (Soph), Gregory (Senior)
5 – Williams (Soph), Burney (Senior), Goins (Junior)

2011-12 Terps
1 Stoglin (Soph)
2 Mosley (Senior), Ross (Soph)
3 Kim (Senior)
4 Padgett (Junior)
5 Williams (Junior), Goins (Senior)
