Moves made
1) Promote Hill, move Hendrickson to the pen, release or trade Walker
2) Promote Patton, release Eaton
3) Promote Wieters, release Moeller
4) Promote Reimold, send Montanez back to AAA
Notes
1) If Reimold is in the Majors, he has to play on a regular basis.. At least 5 times a week… but you would need to continue to find at-bats for Pie… Pie can start at least twice a week in LF.. With Reimold getting occasional starts at DH… Pie can get occasional starts in CF…
2) I’m hoping time at SS can become more split between Izturis andAndino as the season progresses.
3) During June and July, the last two spots in the bullpen should be some mix of Sarfate, McCrory, Bass, Albers, Liz, Mickolio, and Pauley.
4) Baez does not figure to be back in 2010… he has pitched well enoughto raise some interest in him… You could consider moving him to Closerfrom now until late-July and attempt to raise his value even more… andmove him by the deadline.
5) That would be a strong everyday line-up, a decent rotation, asomewhat useful bench… and a bullpen with promise… if you have thisteam by early June, the O’s would be poised for a very solid final 4 months of 2009.
6) David Hernandez, Chris Tillman, and Jake Arrieta would be the next ones knocking at the door.
