David Hernandez went 6 innings, allowing 7 hits, 2er, 2 bb’s with 5 k’s.
Oscar Salazar and Nolan Reimold are both in the Norfolk lineup, a pretty good indication that the O’s are not aware of the results of Scott’s MRI… or possibly that the results came-back clean.
Salazar is 2 for 4 with a homer, and 2 rbi… he is batting .378.
Reimold is 2 for 4 with a double… he is batting .386.
Obviously Salazar is not a ‘prospect’ as he turns 31 in June… but he could be a useful option off the bench for a lot of Major League teams.
If Scott has to be shelved, I would still rather see Reimold get the promotion and everyday at-bats for the Orioles.

Last night, they exploded for 15 runs today, led by former 1st round pick Billy Rowell.
Rowell was 3 for 5, with 2 homers and 5 rbi… raising his average to .303, and his OPS to .848.
