With the win, the O’s have won 4 of their last 6 games, and move-back over .500 at home. (11-10).
Adam Jones hit his 7th, and 8th homers of the year… and Brian Bass gave the team a chance to get back in the game with 4 innings of shut-down ball.
Baez, Johnson, and Sherrill each tossed an inning of scoreless ball and closed out the Rays.
Felix Pie left the game due to illness, and was taken to a local hospital for review.
