Felix Pie, who was sent to the hospital last night with stomach issues, was sent back to the hospital this afternoon when he complained about lingering pain.

With Jones taken out of action, Pie was forced into the game and responded with 2 hits in 2 at-bats, including his 2nd homer of the year.

Bergesen went 5.2 innings, allowing 9 hits, 4 er, 1 bb, 1 homer, and 3 k’s.

McCrory was charged with all 4 runs allowed in the 9th inning, going 1.2 innings total, allowing 3 hits, and 4 walks.

After the game, Trembley confirmed that McCrory was going back to AAA, and that Nolan Reimold was taking his position on the active roster.
