Thoughts:
1) The Baltimore lineup ( and bench ) compares with anyone.
2) Boston has the deepest staff 1-12.
3) Tampa has to have Kazmir and Burrell get healthy and produce.. and they need bullpen help.. maybe some of their Minor League starters?
4) Chamberlain is going to wind-up in the Yankee bullpen setting-up Rivera, with Wang back in the rotation.
5) A number of these teams are vulnerable.
6) Ray coming back and being effective is a huge difference with our pen.
7) Most glaringly the O’s lack an Ace (Halladay, Sabathia, Beckett), and a top closer (Papelbon, Rivera)..
8) When Tillman, Arrieta, Matusz make their arrival between now and next June… any existing talent gap closes again.
9) I still like the Rays to make a run.
10) Litsch returning will help Toronto, but they are really missing McGowan, and Marcum.
