Rich Hill just had his 5th start as an Oriole, and lasted two outs into the first inning.

June 7th: 0.2 innings, 1 hit, 3er, 4 bb’s, 0 k’s

June 1st: 7 innings, 2 hits, 0 er, 3 bb’s, 7 k’s

May 27th: 3.1 innings, 6 hits, 6 er, 3 bb’s, 3 k’s

May 22nd: 5.2 innings, 3 hits, 2er, 1 hr, 4 bb’s, 6 k’s

May 16th: 5.2 innings, 7 hits, 2er, 2 bb’s, 6 k’s

What exactly do you have with Hill? That 12/6 curve ball is dominating, but only if he can get ahead with his fastball.

His fastball velocity has been consistently around 87-88, slightly lower than I an anticipated.

In three of his starts, he has been very solid. In the other two, he has been horrible.

I hope we can find some middle ground and consistency out of Hill going forward.
