Not going to do a full run down of the game last night, but here are a couple of quick thoughts:

1) I am very happy to see that JSC, and Goins received a combined 9 mts last night. At some-point during this season, their depth is going to be needed. I hope Gary is able to find continued opportunities to give them some playing time.

2) Mosley is playing at a very high level right now. 19 pts, 8 boards, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block. 8 of 13 from the floor. He continues to do a bit of everything.

3) Vasquez took 7 shots overall, and 6 of them were 3 pointers. I have to question that. The second charging call on him was very tough, and really took him out of the game. Maryland is going to need him tonight against Cincinnati PG Denota Vaughn.

4) 9 more points, and 10 more rebounds for Jordan Williams last night. He is averaging 8.8 points, and 7.8 boards so far. Padgett also had 8 points, and 6 boards of his own.

5) I understand it was Chaminade, but I was happy to see MD get 11 blocks, lead by Williams who had 3.

6) Chaminade used a lot of zone against MD, forcing MD to take shots over the top. A lot of more talented teams will do this against the Terps as well. MD will have to prove they can get dribble penetration against a zone, and find ways to get to the foul-line. This is an area, where I feel JSC has to join Hayes, and Tucker as MD’s de facto zone-busters.
