The Baltimore Sun reports today that Derrick Mason will return to the Baltimore Ravens.

This matches my initial thoughts at the time of Mason’s announced retirement, but I can admit to having increasing doubt as the days moved on.
Combine that with Drew Forrester’s (WNST 1570) report about Mason hiring a moving company to move his possessions from Baltimore back to Nashville, and my anxiety was growing by the day.
This is trully outstanding news, but the Ravens should still pursue WR depth.
If Mason, or Clayton, D. Williams were to go down to season-ending injury, they would be in that same-lacking position.
Bringing in Matt Jones as the 4th WR, still seems like a valuable addition to me.
