1st-base prospect Brandon Snyder is getting hot at the right time for AAA Norfolk.
Snyder dug himself a huge whole to dig out of as his OPS is still under .700, his walk to k ratio is still not great, and he has only 11 XBH’s in his 140 AAA at-bats.
However, with 14 hits in his last 38 at-bats, Snyder has raised his batting average to .250 overall.
He also has 27 rbi in his 40 games for Norfolk.
If he can stay hot for the next month, his ending numbers should balance out.
If he finishes strong enough, the O’s will be faced with the interesting question of bringing back Huff for 2010, or promoting Snyder.
