Welcome to the 2018 BSL Deified Dozen rankings. Each week during the season our panel of experts will rank the Top 12 teams in college football. Members of our panel include:  CT Schwink, Rob Shields, Mike Lowe, Zack Kiesel, Brian (Pedro Cerrano) McGuire, Chris (Ricker Says) Ricker, Steve Birrer, Mike Randall and Chris Garman. We are looking forward to an exciting season of college football.

Following Week 4 our panel came about as close as we ever have to being unanimous in who our top dozen teams were, as only 2 out of 702 votes went to other teams. Oklahoma dropped from sole possession of #5 into a tie with LSU after their struggles against Army, while Stanford rose after surviving a challenging trip to Oregon. And West Virginia made its first appearance ever in the Deified Dozen, seizing on previous #12 Mississippi State’s loss at Kentucky, not to mention a stunning loss by Virginia Tech at Old Dominion.

This coming weekend is guaranteed to see notable movement in our poll, as two games feature teams both ranked in the Deified Dozen: #8 Stanford at #9 Notre Dame and #3 Ohio State at #7 Penn State. Also two other teams face tough games against teams ranked in the AP/Coaches polls: #12 West Virginia at Texas Tech and #11 Washington hosting BYU.
