MD is 14-7, 3-4… tied with Miami for 8th in the ACC.

Terps need to get to 8 wins in conference… 8 wins plus Michigan St, and Michigan will leave the Terps with an NCAAT worthy resume.

They have to beat VaTech at home… Hokies are 4-3 in conference… you only play them once this year, need that head to head win.

You have already beat GaTech, and UVA this year… Terps will need to do so again, against both on the road.

Both teams have some players, and the Yellow Jackets proved yesterday what a difference playing at home can make.

The next two most winnable games on the schedule are at NCST, and at Clemson.

Costner, McCauley, and Fells is a pretty good trio, and Clemson is pretty strong overall.

However, both are winnable games… even if you only have a 25-30% chance at Clemson.

If you lose one of the four road games above (GaTech, Clemson, NCST, UVA) then you will have to win one of the four games against UNC, Duke, and Wake.

Considering MD has won their last 2 against UNC… and was 3-0 against UNC, and Wake last year – it is not totally out of the question.

MD lost by 41 at Duke, so it is hard to call for the outright win…. but I will be shocked if MD does not have a chance to win during the last 5 mts of that game Feb 25th.
