Coming off the absolute high of the victory over UNC, it is only appropriate that Duke, and a reminder of the lowest low is next on the schedule.
Of course the low I am referring to, is the 41 point Jan 24th loss in Durham.
The truth is that loss, and yesterday’s win are both ‘MD’ this year, and what they are capable of… when you have two vastly different extremes like that… the truth of what you are as a team lies somewhere in the middle.
Duke is now 7-4 in the ACC, entering their match-up vs Wake Forest at home tonight.
At home, you would expect Duke to find a way to win.
If the Blue Devils were to lose tonight, MD could tie them in ACC play with a win Wednesday.
The Terps have 4 ACC regular season games left, and need to win at least 2 to dance.
If MD can excess their deamons (perhaps Blue Devils, if you will) by beating Duke, and advancing their cause; all the better.
