As a Ravens fan, I would rather lose to the Steelers with Ben playing, vs. beat them without him and advance to the playoffs.
The Ravens could have beat NE, Minnesota, and Indy; but the fact remains they did not. They are 1-5 against current division leaders.
A win against the Steelers without those two on the field may still count in the standings, but is clearly not legitimate.
Tomorrow is going to be a long-night for Dennis Dixon. I would imagine the Steelers will pull out the gadget plays, and really attempt to control the clock behind Mendenhall.
If the Ravens take care of the Steelers running game, it is hard to imagine how Pittsburgh can win.
The Ravens will win, and move to 6-5. They still figure to beat Chicago, Detroit, and win at Oakland. Still figure to lose at Pittsburgh.
The season will come down to what the Ravens do at GB next Monday night. A Monday night in Lambeau, in December was never going to be easy. The Packers having 11 days between games will also be an advantage for them.
