Earlier today I posted my initial thoughts on the hiring of Randy Edsall as the Head Football Coach for the University of Maryland:

With the news now official my addendum is that it is not Edsall’s fault he was hired. I point out this obvious statement because there are Terrapin posters all over the place enraged by the hire.
I am having a hard time finding anyone ‘excited’ about Edsall right now, but there is no reason to demonize him.
Edsall is the Coach, and he wanted to be a Terp. That is reason enough to support him, even if you disagree with the decisions that resulted in his hire.
