Getting past the question of was Orlando Cabrera a better option for the O’s vs than Izturis… I have to wonder if the Orioles would have interest in Crosby if he were released, or made available at a minimum cost.
Crosby has never been the player that Peter Gammons once projected to win the American League MVP, but like Izturis is just 29, and capable of being a stop-gap option for a year or two.
