The Baltimore Orioles had their bats working for the second-straight game, as they beat the Atlanta Braves 11-2.
The O’s pounded out 15 hits, chasing Brave starter Derek Lowe from the game early. Everyone in the lineup had at-least one hit, led by Ty Wiggington’s 2 homers and 3 rbi. Robert Andino contributed at the plate with 2 hits, including a double, and 3 rbi, and in the field with several strong plays.
Not to be outdone by the offense, Brad Bergesen had his fourth consecutive strong outing, as he went the distance.
The only blemishs on Bergesen’s day were two solo homers allowed to David Ross.
Bergesen’s complete-game line was 5 hits, 2er, 2 homers, 2 bb’s, with 3 k’s.
In Bergesen’s last 32 innings, he has allowed just 6 earned-runs.
After an off day tomorrow, the O’s will face the Mets at home for 3 games starting Tuesday night.
