Yesterday after reading in the Baltimore Sun that Nolan Reimold was going to miss several days on personal leave, I opined that 2010 was closing in as a lost year for him.

As he was back in the Norfolk lineup last night (starting at 1st base, 1 for 4, 1 rbi, 1 bb), my comments in the linked blog above were not justified.
Two weeks from today (July 16th) is the first game after the MLB All-Star game. There are 11 Norfolk games between now and then. I would love to see Reimold play 1st Base everyday for the Tides in that stretch. If he gets his production up, I would like to see him take over 1st for the O’s when the 2nd-half begins.
