Nolan Reimold had a big Sunday, going for 4 for 5 at AAA Norfolk. Included in his four hits were a double, and a homer. He also knocked in 2, and had a steal.
His AAA OPS finally climbed up above .700 to .717 over his 265 at-bats.
During his last 10 games, Reimold has a .990 OPS, a .314 batting average, 2 homers, 3 doubles, 7 rbi, 6 walks, 5 k’s, and 4 steals.
There currently is no real way for Reimold to play everyday at the Major League level, unless you shifted Wigginton to 3rd, and inserted Reimold at 1st or DH with Scott. That is not going to happen, because the O’s need to evaluate Josh Bell.
With Patton going back to AAA, it appears the O’s will be bringing back Tatum, with Fox going back to more of the Utility role. Part of me would rather see Reimold promoted over Tatum.
