An Oriole for 7yrs, during 3 seperate occassions… he had a great career, that could have ended in Cooperstown, if he had better knees.
For his overall career, the Eastern Shore native had 2,866 hits, 384 homeruns… his lifetime .821 OPS looks a bit low based on current numbers… but you have to consider for league averages during the years he played.
