Uehara is clearly competetive. I think reports of him throwing strikes is going to become common-place… his walk-rate in Japan, was extremely impressive.
Will be interesting to see how he adjusts to MLB, when hitters see him the 2nd and 3rd time in a game, and when more video becomes available.
Will he pay for being consistently around the plate?
While he turns 34 next month, and will not be a long-term option for the Orioles, watching him this season will be very entertaining.
