The University of Maryland will kickoff their 2009 season September 5th, in San Francisco to face the California Golden Bears.

NationalChamps has Cal ranked #16 in the Nation. If MD can win this game on the road against the Pac-10 power, it will bring a lot of early press to the Terps.
The Golden Bears return 15 starters, including sensational Running Back Jahvid Best.
Best and the rest of the Bears were introduced to the Terps last year, in MD’s 35-27 home victory over then #25 ranked California.
