For the 2009-10 season, we know that MD is bringing in post-players Jordan Williams, and James Padgett.
We also know that MD remains highly-interested in Lance Stephenson, but with 13 players (including Williams and Padgett) currently scheduled to be on the roster, someone would have to leave, for a spot for Stephenson to become available.
What about the 2010-11 season, and the 2010 class?
In 2010-11, you could have a team of the below 10 players:
1 Bowie (Senior)
2 Mosley (Junior)
3 Tucker (Senior), Kim (Junior),
4 Padgett (Soph), Gregory (Senior)
5 Williams (Soph), Dupree (Senior), Goins (Junior), Burney (Senior)
Of course this is based on the current roster, and there is some reason to believe that someone out of Dupree, Goins, and Burney could consider transferring at some-point. However, what is known is that you will have at least 3 scholarships available.
New names always have a way of emerging, but I believe the list below is the current group of players MD are actively recruiting for the 2010 class.
PG
Tyrone Garland
Pe’Shon Howard
Taran Buie
SG
Will Barton
Victor Oladipo
Terrence Ross
SF
Roscoe Smith
Mychal Parker
Leek Leek
PF
Hippo Tsafack
Tobias Harris
C
Will Regan
You clearly will need guard-help, and need to get a PG and a SG out of the mix of 6 players above.
With Tucker being a Senior, and Kim being a Junior… obviously large mts long-term at the 3 would quickly be available.
In the post, Gary Williams has long preferred a 4 man rotation for the PF and Center positions…. If there is no attrition from Gregory, Dupree, Goins, and Burney… 3 of those players will still be Seniors… meaning a lot of mts available to a 4 or 5 during the Sophomore season of the 2010 Freshman class.
www.terpcenter.com interviewed Taran Buie yesterday, which you can find here:

In this very solid interview, what you really like about Buie, is that he is confident in his ability at either Guard position.
Buie has grown-up as a natural off-guard, that has been moved to the 1 because of his size and college-projections.
Ideally, would like to get him verballed to MD, as he would give you a solid addition at either guard position.
