MD has signed two players for the incoming Freshman class – Jordan Williams, and James Padgett.
Padgett plays for Lincoln HS in New York. His teammate is Lance Stephenson – a top 10 overall national recruit.
Stephenson was at the MD game tonight for an official visit, and Vasquez is taking him out afterward for the rest of his visit.
It is supposed to an extreme long-shot that he would be signing with MD, but credit goes to the staff for getting him on campus, and giving it a shot.
Also, Gary Williams was at Montrose Christian’s game today to see Junior Guard Terrence Ross.
