The 16-8, 5-5 Maryland Terrapins visit the 20-4, 6-4 Clemson Tigers in Littlejohn tomorrow night.

With a win, MD would pull even with Clemson in ACC play, and have the tie-breaker head-to-head win.

Clemson started the season 16-0, but has gone 4-4 in their last 8 ACC contests.

Yesterday, the Tigers lost in OT on the road to Virginia – again showing that road-trips in conference play are always difficult.

Clemson had three players avg in double figures: Trever Booker (PF), KC Rivers (SF), and Terrence Oglesby (SG), and two others scoring at least 8pts agame.

The match-ups that figures to pose the most problems for MD are the post-skills of Booker and the Center Demontez Stitt.

Booker avgs 15.9 points per game, with 8.9 rebounds. He reminds you of Miami’s Dwayne Collins.

For the year, Clemson has:

Wins against – Hofstra, TCU, Temple, Wofford, Charlotte, Savannah St, Presbyterian, @Illinois, Liberty, South Carolina State, North Florida, @Miami, @South Carolina, East Carolina, Alabama, NCST, GaTech, @VaTech, Duke, @Boston College

Losses against – Wake Forest, @North Carolina, Florida State, @UVA

MD clearly needs 3 wins in their last 6 regular season games to make their NCAAT case.

The Terps will also be looking for revenge, after losing a 20 point lead with under 12mts left to Clemson last-year at home.
